Steampunk Justice League Modded Action Figures

Inspired by the comic book, Gotham by Gaslight by Mike Mignola and Brian Augustyn (Batman vs. Jack the Ripper set in the late 19th century. A classic.), the modder behind these action figures wanted to place the members of the Justice League in the Victorian era. Let me just say these kick ass!

Track Racing Grannies Slot Car Set

Geriatric Kart racing at it's finest. If you ever wanted to pit two elderly knitting machines against one another in a nail-biting slot car race, here’s your chance to see what happens. The only way this could possibly get any better is if they said things like, “Just a minute, let me count my change.” or if there were a few more “cars” on the track like old coots in rocking chairs.

1979 Battlestar Galactica Catalog

This definitely takes you back. Plaidstallions.com has a nice page full of images from the 1979 Battlestar Galactica toy offerings catalog. Those were some quality toys.

The toy license for Galactica was originally offered to Mego but they passed. Luckily for us, Mattel did not. The toy line sold well, until the show was yanked. Then sales disappeared. They gave us remote controlled cylon raiders, cute talking daggits, even a cheesy Space Alert game.

Vintage Polaroid Camera Robot Art LAMP Still Available

Here is one of my recent robot lamps, still available. 15" tall. Made from a vintage Polaroid land camera and various other parts. He casts a great glow on the wall. I like this one alot. He has a weird retro look, cool propeller eyes and Doc Octopus arms.

Fisher-Price Piano Says "F--- Me, Rape Me."???

Same old story. Godmother buys toy. Kid plays with toy. Toy says "f-- me, rape me." First lead paint, now bad words? Is China to blame? Is it an overactive and dirty adult imagination?

Uh...I think the latter.

Acrobots-Robot Fun For Your Desk Top

Courtesy of Thinkgeek.com.

These modern artistic beauties are magnetic, stackable and feature crystal clear heads for added futuristic coolness. They have magnets in their hands and feet and can contort into many shapes since the joints are flexible.

They come in 2 varities. You can get them 4" tall or you can opt for smaller bots.(Size isn't everything)
Aside from the "walk like an egyptian" packaging, we think they're cool. You should too!
