I'm not sure if I should admire this man or feel sorry for him. Either way the end result is cool.

It's packed with attention to detail that has to be seen to be believed, down to different antenna sizes dotted around the tower and complex engine-plumbing. Mark's decision to avoid too many exposed studs must have added considerably to both the expense and building time.

Skull & Crossbones Clock

This gilded brass clock was built in 1610 by Nicolaus Schmidt der Junger in Augsberg, Germany and recently sold for $135,000. It looks like something Indiana Jones would quest for. It's a true timeless beauty. To tell the time, just crack open the skull cap, and the clockworks are where they brains are normally. It has a mechanical moving jaw, with snakes that dart out of its eyeballs. Yep, Indy would love this.

Shameless Self Promotion- Meet The New Robot

This guy...ah...gal...was made using an old jello mold, vintage Kodak Duaflex camera, some robot arms surgically removed from a piece of crap Radio Shack robot, a power box casing, a nintendo game cube controller's "x" and "y" button for the cool "ears" and a few other doo-dads.

Funny thing about this one is, I thought I was building a male robot, despite the skirt. But my wife keeps telling me it is a her. She doesn't have a name yet.

If it wasn't such a busy week I would make it so her insides light up with red light shooting out of the camera lens. She is just going to have to settle for looking pretty without it.
