Betta Aquarium-Cruel To Fish...Cool To See

This is a very cool looking retro Sci-Fi style aquarium. It's also very small for the poor fish. The thing is only powered by 2 button cell batteries for God's sake. The UFO on top provides the cool lighting. I bet the fish wishes that it would abduct it's sorry scales out of there.

Giant 2001: A Space Odyssey VHS Monolith

Now THIS makes the geek in me VERY happy. Yu can almost feel that epic music("Also Sprach Zarathustra") as you gaze upon this modern marvel. David Herbert is an artist who recreates pivotal scenes and images from films, books, music, art and nature. What he created here is a large VHS copy of the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Every Sci-Fi fan should have one.
