Kristen Bell Does Princess Leia
That's right, Veronica Mars dresses up in the Princess Leia slave outfit in the upcoming movie FANBOYS. That should get a bunch of geeks excited enough to wish they were Jabba the Hutt.

Will Mulder and Scully Meet Frank Black In X-FILES 2?
It's beginning to look that way. Lance Henrikson recently appeared at a UK convention and gave a coy answer to a fan's question regarding a potential appearance in the X-Files sequel.
Here's an excerpt from the source:
Anyway he was asked if he would be in the next XFiles movie with the cross over storyline from Millennium and he said he wasnt allowed to talk about it at the moment but he would leave it up to us to decide what that statement meant!!
I think it means we just may be getting Frank Black. That alone in my mind(If true) makes the movie worth seeing.

Klaatu Barada Nikto
You can own your very own GORT robot from classic 1950's Sci-Fi Classic The Day The Earth Stood Still. He's an 8.5" tin wind-up robot replica of the movie robot. Now would be a great time to re-visit this classic movie robot as a remake is currently underway according to PopTherapy.com, starring Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly. No word yet on whether they will have Gort in the new movie or if he will be "updated".

Giant 2001: A Space Odyssey VHS Monolith
Now THIS makes the geek in me VERY happy. Yu can almost feel that epic music("Also Sprach Zarathustra") as you gaze upon this modern marvel. David Herbert is an artist who recreates pivotal scenes and images from films, books, music, art and nature. What he created here is a large VHS copy of the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Every Sci-Fi fan should have one.

Shazam! The Movie...
This is either going to be brilliant or horribly horrible. Apparently, this adaptation will be an action comedy, according to John August, the script writer.
Nothing can come close to the retro 70's cheese-fest anyway. The child in me will always remember. Ahhh the good old days of superhero underoos and TV.
Now where'd I put those underoos?

New Version Of Logan's Run Back On!
Apparently it is back on again at Warner Bros, with a new director and a fresh script. Joseph (You might know me from commercials)Kosinski will direct. Tim Sexton(Children of Men) will write it.
How they expect to top the 1976 classic, I have no idea. Come on, Michael York, Jenny Agutter and Farrah Fawcett. That is vintage Sci-Fi gold right there.
"We have a runner!"
Let's hope that this is one of the rare instances in which they get it right.
