Spykee Voice-Activated iPod Robots Seem...Wrong

Meccano is introducing 2 new robots, the Spykee Vox and the Spykee Miss, each targeted at different genders by the looks of them. Each robot has it’s own iPod dock, weirdly situated in their robot groin areas, and are compatible with other mp3 players as well. They appear to be having their way with the devices.

MP3 Player Looks And Acts Like A Cassette

The Cassette MP3 Player can be used as a stand alone MP3 player with headphones, or inserted into any cassette deck and played that way. It plays the music directly from the SD card you put in it so you can't reverse/skip/etc. when the tape is playing. Pointless, but neat.

Transmit iPhone or iPod tunes through any available FM radio frequency and play them in your home or car stereo. You can get one for $24. It sports an LCD screen for ease of use.

USB Mix Tapes

Remember those mix tapes from the 80's? The USB Mix Tape is a mixture of the old fashioned cassette with it’s paper cover, but inside it sports a small USB flash drive which contains your music. The USB flash drive inside stores 64MB of music. To record your music, stick the USB flash drive in to your PC, drag and drop all your tunes on to it, and then put the flash memory back in to it’s case. You can even write all your track listings on to the paper insert.

MiShare: iPod On iPod Action

This could be a huge pain in the butt for Apple. The MiShare allows iPods to share information without a computer. For instance, your friend has pictures, playlists or mp3s on their iPod, that you would like to have on yours, but you don’t want to go through the trouble of getting out the laptop, charger cable, and iPod reverse transfer software. MiShare makes it easy with direct iPod on iPod action. Just attach both iPods and press the button to start the transfer.

Headphones For Warzones From Skullcandy

The G.I. headphones from Skullcandy are art as much as they are a pair of headphones. It even had bullet holders on the headband. It gets stranger. They come with a tool inside a small pouch that can work as a screwdriver, skate tool, or a bottle-opener. I guess they really want you to be prepared in any war-zone while you are rocking out.

plusdeckEX: Convert Cassettes To MP3

Take that box of old cassettes you have stashed in the closet and turn them into MP3s with the plusdeckEX. It plugs into your PC via USB and the result is beautiful digital music. A 7.1 channel built-in sound card converts the analog signal from the cassette tape into a digital file format like MP3. It’s just that easy. It will also transfer your MP3s to an audio cassette so you can enjoy them old school if you like.

Other features are an LCD control panel, AM/FM radio tuner, and a remote control. You can expect to see it in 2008.
