Electronics Imitate Nature: The Venus Fly Trap


Here's a cool way to kill those flying pests that invade your home. This electronic version of nature's fly eater is actually modelled after the real thing. It uses a non-toxic bait (which is refillable) to lure the fly in. As the fly works it's way down to the bait, it trips a couple of sensors and BAM, it closes it's jaws, killing the fly.


Then it burps...
