Rumor is that Playstation 4 will feature backwards compatibility. The rumor was sparked by a job offer being advertised where Sony in Japan were looking for a software engineer to tackle backward compatibility on the PS3 and a “next-gen” console. Next-gen could be anything from a new hand-held PSP 2, a PS4 or something else.
